Popular Co. Meath entertainer Declan Gaynor travelled from
Rugby to provide the music at Derby Irish Centre’s recent summer evening
dance. It was a member’s night, with proceeds going to meet the cost
of turning the centre into Derby’s premier Irish venue. With that objective
in view, a busy social scene is set from now until the end of the year, culminating
in a December appearance by Shaun Cuddy & His Band at the centre’s
Christmas dance.
