Spring sunshine set the scene for a very successful St. Patrick's Parade
in Derby on the Sunday preceding the feast day. The day began with a civic
reception in the Council Chambers, hosted by the Mayor of Derby, Cllr Robin
Turner. Then there was a procession to St. Mary's RC Church for a special
mass and a return to the Assembly Rooms for another reception. The day ended
with a packed house at the Derby Irish Centre in Becket Street
