There was a special one day fund-raising event at the Drill Hall Vaults
in Derby the other day, which succeeded in raising a staggering £2,200
for special needs people (The Tuesday Group). This is the 13th year that Leitrim
landlords Steve and Maureen Gallagher have arranged a fundraiser for this
worthy causes at their premises. Artists led by Frank Dempsey and The Dublin
Busker gave their services free of charge throughout the day.
